The Reflection of Countenance...

Some people walk around with such a downed countenance, a downed appearance and composure on their face. Now I'm a huge believer of not being fake and pretending that things are "fine" (such a fake word many times). HOWEVER...I know that God is BIGGER than the things in this life. If we truly believed that, than our countenance would give testament to that right. I mean when people look at us they should see God's JOY, His LOVE, His PEACE, His STRENGTH - ALL that He is because He is the Great I AM!!!

If we lived according to the Word, walking by what it says, then that same power would be seen and made manifest in our lives and ON OUR COUNTENANCE!

If He is the lifter of our heads (Psalms 3:3) why then do we continue to hold our heads down? I mean, do you understand what I am saying here???
Ok, ok, let's go look at the word some more:
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Ok, so why do we walk around as though we are perishing from the weight of the cares of this world when God, our Father in Heaven, gave His Son Jesus Christ, so that we would have everlasting life in Him? People WAKE UP! Open your eyes and stop being blinded and consumed by whats around you. Be FREE by the power and blood of Jesus Christ. Take up thy bed and walk...be healed and go...(Mark 2:11).

Oh let us not be conformed to the ways of this world but God help us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that you would make us whole in You (Romans 12:2). If we walked according to who God has called us to be, who His Word says we are in Him, walking by His Spirit and not our flesh...then when people see us they won't see dead man's bones withering away to the ground, but they will see the Glory of God that surrounds us as it surrounded those who went before us....Moses....Enoch....Elijah, Elisha, Abraham, David...the long list of known names.

So my question to you is...when people see you, what does your countenance reflect? Will all see and hear and know that He and He alone is God, by looking at you?

Called into Freedom!

You know...we are all "CALLED"! God has called each and everyone of us to walk according to His purposes and His plans (1Tim 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,) for our lives. There is so much destiny and power in us! Sadly many of us have not yet walked in fulfillment of that which God is still calling us to. And for that reason...many are called but few are chosen (Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few are chosen). Guess what....IF YOU DON'T ANSWER THE CALL, GOD WILL USE SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL!!! It's time we get that revelation deep within our spirits. We can no longer be content to just do or be but we must desire to do and be only in Him that He might make Himself manifest in our lives wholly that we would walk in fulfillment of that which He has called us to, according to His purposes.

 I know that His plan for me is bigger and better and more beautiful than anything I could ever imagine or dream up for myself in even my wildest dreams. HE IS GOD!!!! HE IS GOD!!! HE IS KING!!! Oh Lord, come into our hearts and fascinate us with Your beauty and holiness that we might stand before You as Your CHOSEN because we answered the CALL! Let our desire for You burn so strongly within us that we can TRULY walk in the FREEDOM You have given us by and through Your Grace, in the purest form as You intended it. 

FREEDOM: the state of being free; at liberty; the absence of or the release from ties; exemption from interference; ease of movement; the right to enjoy all the privileges or special rights of membership(in Christ)

• John 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
• John 8:36  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 
• Romans 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 
• Galatians 5:1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

This is one of those times where I keep trying to write and articulate what's going on, putting into words what I'm feeling or sensing, but I keep erasing and re-writing everything....it's just...just not it! 

It's odd to me that I have been so distant still from my writing. If I can't get out what is inside than after awhile I get the point that I am not meant to and move on...but then life goes on and it will be a week or two weeks with nothing. Lord!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!! Well, I guess you can't take the pot off the stove before the food is done cooking, so....see where I'm going with this? LOL! I am purposeful in all that I do. My writings may appear random, but I will not put something down I am not supposed to. I really do ask God to pour through me even in something as simple as a rant or story. He can use anything.......ooooh reminds me of a song from my "youth" days...."If you can use anything Lord, You can use me, If You can use anything Lord, You can use, Take my...."....something I don't remember it all now, but hmmmmmm nice one!!!! 

God was once again, mind blowing-ly amazing tonight at YOUTH...He really changed things up on me in ways I never ever ever ever thought before we walked in the church. I, having my ow agenda, thinking it was His agenda, was beautifully surprised at what God wanted to happen tonight! Gotta go with the flow and I will choose His flow any day over any of my own flows...His are much more fun to ride, challenging at times but so fun!!!!

I'm being very vague right now aren't I....hmm....It just seems like too much to write, I can't get it out without erasing and re-writing...but I felt so led to blog, which I have missed. It's hard to know if anyone even reads these...I wonder this often....or if anyone has missed when I have been gone for awhile...I say this NOT for an affirmation just sharing what's on my mind. I don't write for YOU, I write for ME and then hope that it somehow also blessed YOU! See! LOL! Hahaha...."No I don't see, cried Alice to the Cheshire Cat...hahaha....ok maybe I am more random than I care to admit. :)

So, I thought I would talk about what was inside but instead this is kind of it! I am however, extremely excited about Camp in just over a week. I had an idea of one of the ways God was gonna really touch me, hit me, work on me, get me...but just tonight He showed me something else I never really considered and I'm just in Love with HIM!!!!! I mean, I am so in Love with God. 

He is so great and I don't know why any of you don't want to get to know Him more....nothing is more important to me than HIM in my life, His Love for me, His Presence.....ahhhh! Don't ever leave me Lord!!!! I want nothing if I cannot have You!!!

Refreshed ~ so refreshed and renewed and revived and feeling so great (even though it is late and sleep would be good).

Oh did you wanna know....?????

Oh....hahaha....well, let me tell you...My SIS is coming to spend some time with me and my fam and my mom this weekend and with a sleepover and I am ecstatic because I have missed her greatly and we both have been super busy with LIFE and it's OUR TIME!!!! YAY! :) It's about time! Oh yeah baby!!!!!

I am also anticipating a reunion with some special people.... RACHEL AND MICHELLE.....you chics better hurry your butts back to AZ and we are making some time together.....yes oh yes! :) I don't typically dwell in the past but I have some great memories I have thought about lately including great people! :) I am so thankful for my Life, all the good - bad - and ugly because I stand here today in a great place because of it!!

Alright Jerry is snoring super loud so it's time to go...that's annoying and I don't wanna get up and down to jolt him in his sleep and type. This was good and I will definitely be back. It's as great as a good ol' catch up chat with a great friend! MMMMmmmmmm.
